Linux All-in-One For Dummies, 7th Edition

I'm happy to announce the release of Linux All-in-One For Dummies, 7th Edition! The All-in-One version covers lots more ground than the Linux for Dummies 10th Edition book, including managing Linux servers, and more content oriented toward topics covered in popular Linux certification exams. I think it'll make for a handy reference resource for any level of Linux admin, whether you're studying for exams or just trying to keep a Linux server running. Many thanks to Emmett Dulaney for his work on the 6th Edition that I was able to update and expand upon!

CompTIA Linux+ Study Guide, 5th Edition

CompTIA just released their updated XK0-005 version of the Linux+ exam, and this new release of the Linux+ Study Guide takes you through everything you'll need to know to pass the exam! CompTIA has added quite a bit of new material to their exam, especially in the cloud and DevOps categories. This book adds to the previous edition by focusing more material on those topics, as well as updating the standard Linux exam topics to the latest Linux distributions.

Mastering Linux System Administration

Part of the Sybex Mastering series, our latest book, "Mastering Linux System Administration" focuses entirely on the installation and administration of Linux servers. The book covers just about every administration function you'd run into, from managing files and users to setting network and security features on the server. The book uses the Ubuntu and CentOS servers for examples, so both Debian and Red Hat features are covered. (for those worried about the demise of CentOS, check out the Rocky Linux distribution, developed and maintained by the original creator of CentOS). Check out my Book section for the link to the full book description and Table of Contents to see just what all it covers!
