The LPIC-2 Linux Professional Institute Certification Study Guide, 2nd Edition is finally available for purchase! There was somewhat of a delay due to the upcoming exam changes. The book covers both the current version 4.0 and the upcoming version 4.5 of the exam objectives. Christine and I are thankful to the team at LPI for helping us with the advanced copy of the version 4.5 objectives.
The LPIC-2 exams cover more advanced server topics needed for becoming a Linux system administrator in a larger organization. We hope that this book will help students pass both the 201 and 202 exams, and gain valuable knowledge in Linux system administration!

With the changes to the Raspberry Pi 2 device Christine and I decided to update our Teach Yourself Python Programming for Raspberry Pi in 24 Hours book. We've added more content to cover the changes to the Pi 2, plus fixed many of the typo's from the first edition. The Pi 2 is much more powerful than the original Pi devices, so you can do lots more things with your Python programs!

The Linux Professional Institute's Linux Essentials exam is a great way to dive into the Linux world if you have no background in Linux. Christine and I worked on updating the Sybex Linux Essentials exam prep book (published in September), and I'm now facilitating the online Linux Essentials Exam Prep Course online class for Ed2Go. Check out both in my course and book links!
